ABOUT US

Who are we?

Dragonfly Hybrid is a program offered by an experienced team familiar with the ins and outs of hybrid learning.

We offer core classes for grades 4-12 twice a week (TuTh 9-2:45 PM), held at Oxford United Methodist Church, located at 21 E. Burdick St. Oxford, MI 48371. Classes are taught by teachers who are passionate about inspiring their students to learn and grow. These same dedicated teachers also teach elective classes (TuTh After school 2:50-3:45 PM). Our resources and curriculum are tailored specifically to the hybrid community, with flexibility in mind. Our goal is to help each and every one of our students to be the best versions of themselves through a collaborative relationship between our school and community.

We partner with Oxford Virtual Academy to provide a fully funded education without the requirements of a co-op. We hire experienced professionals to teach so you don't have to! We are a great option for homeschool families looking for some structure and support and for families who need a little more flexibility than public schools can provide.

Mission Statement

Rooted to Grow. Inspired to fly!

Dragonfly Hybrid is more than a hybrid school - we're a community built around students. We believe strong readers, capable writers, creative thinkers, and confident problem-solvers are developed through both timeless fundamentals and modern skills. From books, pencils, cursive, and analog clocks to technology, digital literacy, and self-advocacy, we help students learn something even more important than what to learn: how to learn!

Here, students are known, creativity is encouraged, and families and educators work together toward one goal - raising capable, curious, confident young people who are ready for whatever comes next!
